Maserati Celebrates 110 Years of Innovation, Performance, and Luxury

December 13, 2024

As Maserati celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2024, we were thrilled to have had the privilege of supporting the iconic Italian brand in showcasing its incredible journey. This year, Maserati’s blend of history, innovation, and performance has been more evident than ever, with major milestones making waves in the media—epitomizing both its storied past and visionary future.

The year kicked off in February with the debut of the GranCabrio Trofeo, an open-top version of the iconic GranTurismo coupe, marking the beginning of a year full of groundbreaking announcements.  In March, Maserati introduced its first fully electric SUV, the Grecale Folgore, and we had the opportunity to invite several journalists on an exclusive press trip to Apulia, Italy, for them to experience the vehicle firsthand. This launch highlighted Maserati’s commitment to blending luxury, sustainability, and high performance, attracting significant press coverage across top outlets such as Hypebeast, Esquire, Popular Science, and Cosmopolitan.

The momentum continued in April with Maserati’s Folgore Days event in Rimini, where the brand unveiled two key innovations: the GranCabrio Folgore, the world’s first all-electric open-air grand tourer, and the TRIDENTE, Maserati’s all-electric luxury motorboat. Both launches attracted over 100 journalists and earned praise for their design and electric performance. Additionally, the TRIDENTE marked Maserati’s bold expansion into the luxury maritime world, generating notable media attention, particularly in yachting circles, including outlets such as Forbes, Yachting, Megayacht News, and boats.com.

In June, we invited journalists to Lake Maggiore for the GranCabrio first-drive experience, blending thrilling drives of the new GranCabrio with a scenic cruise aboard the TRIDENTE motorboat. This event received substantial press coverage in Town & Country, BOAT International, Robb Report, Esquire and Power & Motoryacht, further emphasizing Maserati’s unique fusion of automotive and maritime luxury.

At Monterey Car Week in August, Maserati’s debut of the GT2 Stradale—a super sports car that blends Maserati’s racing heritage with the elegance of the MC20—generated widespread excitement in the press, including Forbes, The Manual, Magneto as well as the cover of duPont Registry’s November issue. During the same week, Maserati celebrated a historic moment by delivering the first MCXtrema, their most powerful track-only super sports car, to a customer. This event marked the MCXtrema’s debut in North America and was highlighted by its roaring V6 3.0L twin-turbo Nettuno engine.

Throughout these milestones, we’ve worked closely with Maserati to ensure strategic media coverage, reinforcing the brand’s rich legacy and forward-thinking direction. Maserati’s 110th anniversary has been a celebration of both its heritage and its electrified future, and we are excited to continue sharing its remarkable journey with the world.
